Bangor Ultimate Group is a beginner friendly and welcoming community for anyone interested in playing Ultimate frisbee. No experience is necessary! We can teach you the basics. We aim to create a positive and safe environment for everyone, prioritizing body control and player safety over big plays. Everyone being involved on the field and having a good time is more important than scoring points.
Where We Play
We play at Cameron Stadium in Bangor, ME.
There are several locations at Cameron Stadium we could be found though:
- On the turf field – this is our first choice
- On the grass behind the track/turf
- In the outfield of the baseball diamond, this is closer to Mt Hope Ave.
- The “secret field,” which is behind the brick building.
What to Bring?
- White Shirt
- Color Shirt (anything except grey)
- Water bottle
- Cleats (no metal spikes) or running shoes
